gardens and exotic shows. Visit the 11th century Qutab Minar ,India
Gate and the grand government buildings, the President’s House ,
Mahatama Gandhi Memorial , Also visit Laxmi Narayan temple
popularly known as Birla Temple. Night stay in Delhi.

03/ Delhi - Jaipur ( By road )
After breakfast drive to Jaipur & transfer to hotel. Later visit
the majestic Amber Fort- at a short distance of 11 kms . from Jaipur,
the Amer Fort complex stands amidst wooded hills overlooking the
Delhi-Jaipur highway, with its forbidding ramparts reflected in
the still waters of the Maota Lake below. One of the finest examples
of Rajput architecture. Ride up on Elephants to the former capital
of the royals set against the backdrop of the wooded hills. Later
visit the City Palace, Palace of Winds also known as Hawa Mahal,
this elaborate building, now little more than a façade, is
encrusted with delicate screen sand carved balconies from which
the royal ladies, confined to their quarters, could sneak views
of the outside world. Past, present and future merge at Jai Singh's
observatory, where time has been accurately measured since the 17th
century. Night stay in Jaipur.

04/ Jaipur - Ajmer - Pushkar ( By road )
After breakfast drive to Pushkar and transfer to hotel. In Pushkar
visit Pushkar lake, Man Mahal and Savitri temple. Also visit the
famous Dargah Shariff, Shah Jahan's mosque, Taragarh fort at Ajmer.

Morning drive to Udaipur-an oasis in the desert state of Rajasthan.

Morning city sight seeing tour.The city of Udaipur is located in
the Aravalli ranges of the royal state of Rajasthan and is also
known as the jewel of Mewar. It is surrounded by ancient mountains
and set on the edge of three lakes. It is a beautiful old city with
narrow lanes flanked by bright stalls, gardens, lakes, palaces and
temples meandering through it. Built in 1559 A.D. by Maharaja Udai
Singh and has been described as the most romantic spot on the continent
of India by Col. James Todd. Visit the City Palace museum, the Jagdish
temple, Sahelion Ki Bari ( Queen’s resort for their friends) Bhartiya
Lok Kala Mandir ( Folk art museum) and the Pratap Memorial. Evening
at leisure. Night stay in Udaipur.

After breakfast drive to Jodhpur & transfer to hotel. Evening

Morning city sight seeing tour. Jodhpur, founded by Rao Jodha of
the Rajput clan in 1459, Jodhpur has history that is marked by centuries
of royal rule and the battles that fought around it. Visit the Mehrangarh
Fort, situated on a low sandstone hill. This sentinel of the bygone
era houses many palaces and forts inside its impregnable walls.
Within the fort, visit Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also visit Jaswant
Thada, an imposing marble cenotaph, built in memory of Maharaja
Jaswant singh II around 1899 and Umaid Public gardens. Night stay
in Jodhpur.

09/ Jodhpur-Jaisalmer ( By road )
Morning drive through Kheechan village (famous for its migratory
cranes) and finally reach Jaisalmer & transfer to hotel. Night
stay in Jaisalmer.

Morning proceed for camel safari. Lunch & dinner enroute on
camel safari. Night stay in Jaisalmer.

and 1593 by Raja Jai Singh, a general in the Moghul Emperor Akbar's

After breakfast drive to Mandawa and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon
walking tour of the painted 'havelis' of some of the leading business
families of the country. Chowkhani Haveli, Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli,
Lakshmi narayan Ladia Haveli, Mohahanlal Saraf Haveli and Bhag chandika
Haveli are of special interest. Spend the enture day looking into
frescoes. Night stay in Mandawa.

Morning drive to Agra enroute visiting Bharatpur bird sanctuary
(a famous Bird sanctuary) and Fatehpur Sikri (a beautiful capital
& centre of power during Akbar's reign). Evening at leisure.

18/ Agra - Delhi ( By road )
Morning at sunrise visit the TAJ MAHAL- Built by Shah Jahan, the
Taj is a white marble memorial to his beautiful wife Mumtaz Mahal.
This monument took 22 years to be completed and was designed, and
planned by Persian architect Ustad Isa. Apart from its stunning
design balance and perfect symmetry, the Taj is also noted particularly
for its elegant domes, intricately carved screens and some of the
best inlay work ever seen. AGRA FORT- Fort built in red sandstone
with its magnificent palaces, halls of public and private audience
and the beautiful gardens. This is where Emperor Shah Jahan was
kept under house arrest by his third son Aurangzeb and spent the
last year of his life viewing the Taj Mahal from across the river
Jamuna. At the Diwan-I-Khas (hall of private audience) where marble
pavilions with floral inlays lend an ethereal ambience, the Emperor
sat on his gem-studded peacock Throne and met foreign ambassadors
and rulers of friendly kingdoms. Later drive to Delhi & transfer
to hotel. Night stay in Delhi.
